Gross Production Tax
Two warring factions from Oklahoma’s oil and gas industry are pushing lawmakers to either leave the gross production tax alone or increase it to help the state’s budget crisis. The OIPA wants it left alone the OEPA wants it increased. Meanwhile, an oil investment expert says two the lowest cost but highest performing oil plays in the country are in Oklahoma.
