Critics go after Oklahoma's plan to use nitrogen gas to execute inmates on death row. Attorney General Mike Hunter announced the plan to use nitrogen gas because of the difficulties of obtaining drugs for lethal injection. Oklahoma would become the first state in the nation to use nitrogen gas for executions, and critics anticipate legal challenges to what they say is an experimental procedure.
