State Budget
Oklahoma faces another large budget hole, and little legislative appetite for new revenue. The state Board of Equalization this week authorized the legislature to spend just over 7 billion dollars next fiscal year, but still facing a 167 million dollar shortfall without new revenue. That would mean cuts of about 2.5% for most state agencies, which would hit education especially hard. This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
