Budget Negotiations

A daily liberal scare, from ONR -

Budget Negotiations

Failure to pass a revenue-raising measure is likely to mean more cuts to state services. The house rejected a bill to raise revenue by 581 million dollars, which would have gone to fill the state's fiscal year 2018 budget hole and give teachers a $5,000 pay raise. Republican legislative leadership says failure of the bill leaves them with no options but to cut state agency budgets. This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
