Child Health Care

  Tax cuts and dumping the ACA blocking passing of Child care bill. The Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP, provides health insurance of nearly 188-thousand Oklahoma children. However, funding for the bill ran out in September. The funding bill is caught up in the tax cut debate. Oklahoma is now running on the last of its funding and some components of the program are already being cut. This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
