  The legislature continues to struggle to close the state's budget gap. Lawmakers have been unable to find enough revenue to fill a 215 million dollar hole. Meanwhile, the State Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services will soon run out of money, and faces significant and potentially devastating cuts.
