There are concerns over the effect wind turbines are having on Oklahoma air bases. Lawmakers held an interim study this week to determine if wind turbines were in danger of encroaching on military training routes used by pilots at Tinker, Altus, and Vance air force bases. Some lawmakers want the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission to have the power to block future wind projects near air bases.This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
