Health Department Cuts

  The budget crisis threatens community health centers and child abuse prevention programs. The Oklahoma State Department of Health this week announced it would no longer provide funding for federally qualified health centers of child abuse prevention programs. The agency earlier announced it will furlough employees who make more than 35 thousand dollars annually two days each month. This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
