Aerospace Economic Impact
The aerospace industry has become Oklahoma's second biggest economic driver. The industry has a nearly 44 billion dollar economic impact, accounting for more than 200 thousand jobs with an annual payroll of 11.7 billion dollars. But there are concerns that cuts to education may hurt Oklahoma's efforts to retail the skilled workforce necessary to fill jobs in aerospace and aviation.This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
